i loved this episode because it really shows that it wasn’t just anakin who lost padmé. yes the narrative followed him and focused on his point of view but. padmé was loved.
she was a great senator who fought for the people, who pushed to make the republic a better place for everyone, who personally showed up where she was needed, no matter the planet, no matter the distance.
she was sweet, compassionate, strong, determined, and the people of the republic loved her.
seeing bail and mon grieving her loss, seeing ahsoka, who was supposed to be as far away as possible from that place, showing up to grieve her. well it hurt.
